We are thrilled to continue our deep environmental commitment by partnering once again with Caritas Integrated Family Service Centre – Tsuen Wan (East) [明愛荃灣綜合家庭服務中心 (東荃灣)] to host our annual “Rescue the Ocean – Save the Earth” events in 2025.
This year’s initiative is all about inspiring the next generation and our community to take active roles in protecting our oceans and the planet. Through engaging workshops and hands-on activities, we aim to raise awareness and install a lasting sense of responsibility for the environment.
Event Highlights:
✳️ 3 May 2025 – Kids Workshop & Interactive Learning
This event was designed to ignite environmental awareness and responsibility among children and their families. During the workshop, the Environmental Champion Team led a vibrant session focused on understanding pollution and its impact on our natural world. The young participants learned that pollution is “everything that is not natural in a natural environment,” .The workshop emphasized eco-citizenship — encouraging children to share their ideas on protecting the environment with adults and to participate actively in clean-up efforts. To personalize their learning, the kids spent time creating drawings that expressed their eco-friendly messages aimed at raising awareness among adults. Their enthusiasm and creativity were truly inspiring.
✳️17 May 2025 – Community Clean-up at Tai Tong Country Park
Volunteers of all ages came together and stretched their bodies in preparation for a successful Community Clean-up at Tai Tong Country Park, following their time spent in the indoor workshop. Together, they helped preserve this beautiful natural area by collecting litter and protecting local wildlife. The day concluded with a joyful BBQ lunch, where participants celebrated their collective efforts and strengthened community bonds.
We sincerely thank everyone who joined and contributed to making these events impactful. Through education and action, we continue to foster a culture of environmental stewardship.
