Introduction
Geological exploration is the process of exploring the structure and environmental characteristics of soil (including groundwater).
The main purpose of geological exploration is to reduce and control geological-related risks during construction. Through exploration, geological hazards can be identified to mitigate and reduce associated risks, the suitability and feasibility of the project can be determined, and risk components and potential costs can be highlighted.
