HKIA Contract 3802 – APM and BHS Tunnels and Associated Works

Project Description

The Project constructs a combined 1.8km long eight cell tunnel structures for the automatic people mover (APM) and baggage handling system (BHS) systems, which facilitate travelers to move between the new Third Runway Concourse and the expanded Terminal 2.

Construction of reinforced slurry wall panels under low headroom in the area within existing CSM and Seawall, and land cement soil mixing panels.

– Land cement soil mixing panels: (a) 210nos., (b) dimension 2.8m x 1.0m, (c) excavation volume 8,232m³
