Public Housing Development at Ko Shan Road

Project Description

This is a Housing Department’s Sale Flats Development Project of which involves construction of one 33-storey domestic block with 5-storey podium and 1-storey semi-basement carpark at Ko Shan Road.

Construction of foundations and retaining structures, and carrying out dewatering and excavation and lateral support works. Foundations include large diameter bored piles with associated pile caps, while retaining structures include pipe pile walls.
– Bored piles: (a) 20 nos., (b) diameter 3m, (c) average depth 28m
– Pipe pile walls: (a) 234 nos., (b) diameter 610mm
– Excavation and lateral support works: (a) bulk excavation 11,410m3, (b) 4 layers of strut & waling
