Project Description
The Project constructs Yau Ma Tei East Section of Central Kowloon Route. Central Kowloon Route is a dual 3-lane east west trunk road about 4.7km with 3.9km in tunnel connecting West Kowloon to Mau Tau Kok, Kai Tak, while Yau Ma Tei East Section is a tunnel with 390m long.
Scope of Works
Construction of diaphragm walls as retaining structures for the cut and cover tunnels and access shafts of Yau Ma Tei East Section. Some diaphragm walls are constructed under low headroom.
– Diaphragm walls: (a) 1m thick, (b) 1,187m long, (c) excavation area 38,353m2
