Foundation for Public Housing Development at Po Shek Wu Road, Sheung Shui

Project Description

This project form part within the broader Public Housing Development in Sheung Shui. It focuses on the construction of the foundations for two substantial residential blocks at Po Shek Wu Road . The foundation system will employ large diameter bored piles and socketed H piles. This foundation work will be supporting the planned development of approximately 1850 new flats, contributing to the overall housing provision within the Sheung Shui area. 

Construction of foundations and retaining structures, including land decontamination, and carrying out dewatering, excavation, and lateral support works. Foundations include large diameter bored piles and socketed-H Piles, while retaining structures include sheet pile walls.

1. Bored piles:  46 nos. of  3.0m diameter
2. Socketed-H Piles: 116 nos. of  610mm diameter
3. ELS works : Sheet Piles,  strut and waling 
4. Excavation Volume : ~42,000m3
