Project Description
The Public Housing Development at Yau Yue Wan Village Road comprises four residential blocks and one ancillary facility block, This project focuses specifically on the construction of the foundation by employing a combination of bored piles and socket-H piles on sloping terrain. This development project will ultimately provide up to 2,700 new flats for the community in Tseung Kwan O area.
Scope of Works
Construction of foundations and retaining structures, and carrying out dewatering and excavation and lateral support works. Foundations include large diameter bored piles and socketed-H Piles, while retaining structures include pipe pile and sheet pile walls.
- Bored piles: 52 nos of 2.9m diameter
- Socketed-H Piles: 233 nos of 610mm diameter
- ELS works: Sheet Pile, pipe pile, strut and waling
- Excavation volume: ~ 22,000m3

- EarthWork: ~11,000 m3
