Project Description
Construction of bored piles, ELS works, pile caps and structural works in the project of Foundation Works Contract of Building 1 Development, Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park.
Scope of Works
Construction of foundations, ELS works, pile caps and structural works. Foundations include large diameter bored piles, while retaining structures include installation of interlocking pipe pile with grout curtain, strut and waling.
– Bored piles: (a) 32 nos., (b) diameter 2.0m to 3.0m, (c) average excavation length 44-45m, (d) average rock socket 6-6.5m
– ELS works: (a) 813mm dia. Interlock pipe pile with total excavation length 10090m, (b) strut & waling total weight 2,600 tonnes.
– Pile Caps: (a) Concrete = 330m3 (b) Reinforcement = 251 tonnes.
– Structural Works: (a) Concrete = 442m3 (b) Reinforcement = 159 tonnes.
